Zach Hill, prodigy skinsman of Hella fame will be releasing his new album, titled Astrological Straits, on the 26th of August 2008 via Ipecac Recordings. The album will feature some familiar faces including Chino Moreno and Les Claypool.

So it looks like Danny has joined another relatively unknown Sydney band called The Curse of Company. Not much info around, all i can find is here and their myspace here.

Quite a good Melvins article over at Billboard.com. Covers the new album (Nude with Boots – Due July 8), an upcoming US and European tour, and the Fantomas-Melvins Big Band’s “Live from London 2006″ DVD, due for release soon on Ipecac.

Well sorta. Melbourne metallers Five Star Prison Cell have scored the support role for the Perth and Melbourne legs of the Dillinger Escape Plan‘s upcoming Australian tour.
