“What drummers influenced your style of playing?

Musically, i haven’t been influenced by just one drummer, but i should mention some. Would be Bill Ward, because i listened a lot to Black Sabbath; the grandfather of rock drummers was John Bonham(Led Zeppelin): his shadow is so immense that you can’t escape him. I like also Matt Cameron(Pearl Jam) and Danny Carey(Tool), he’s a genius.

According to soundwave, there will be a very limited release of tickets to the Melbourne Faith No More sideshow and will be on sale this Wednesday (18th Nov) at 9am:

Faith No More sold out their Melbourne Soundwave sideshow out in 7 minutes. We are thrilled to announce that we have opened up some more sightlines, and a strictly limited number of tickets for their Thu 25 Feb show at Festival Hall will be released on Wednesday 18 November at 9am.

There will be no more sideshows announced for Faith No More and with Melbourne Soundwave now sold out your only chance to catch them will be through this limited release or at the remaining Soundwave shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

New Tango Saloon show! If yr in Sydney try and catch this

The Tango Saloon is again coming out of hibernation, to play with Mikelangelo’s latest concoction The Tin Star.

For those that don’t know, Mikelangelo is a bit of a legend on the world/cabaret/weirdo kind of scene, playing with his band The Black Sea Gentlemen, as well as joining La Clique on their travels around the globe.

The two bands will square off on Dec 5th, at the wonderful Qirkz in Marrickville. Mikel won the arm wrestle and will be playing first…
