The Mark of Cain enter the studio

The Mark of Cain are entering the studio this month for the first time since 2001 to record a new album. The album will be released independently after the band split from BMG in 2004.
The band consists of John Scott (Guitar/Vox), Kim Scott (Bass) and John Stanier (drums - Tomahawk, Battles, ex-Helmet). Their style is unique but can be likened to Helmet and they are well known in Australia for putting on a brutal live show. The band has been absent from the Australian music scene due to Stanier’s hectic schedule and John and Kim both having families and careers.
