Great update !!
I was on a DEP gig in Paris and I heard new songs from “Option Paralysis”. The sound was totally shit but I know that OP will be a masterpiece !!
They’re getting better with years I think and hell they rock !! I mean, Irony was awesome Miss Machine was really great too and Ire Works is one of my favourite albums EVER. Hope they will record a little something with Mike Patton again some day !!! Hope you will see them soon, it’s fuckin’ worthwhile !!
I read a review of one of their gigs recently and they actually played ‘When Good Dogs Do Bad Things’ (my fave, along with ‘In The Mouth Of Ghosts’). Kudos to Greg the vocalist for even attempting a Patton masterpiece!
on the special edition of ‘miss machine’ there’s a live dvd (you can also buy the dvd separately), it has them performing ‘when good dogs do bad things’, among others. Greg flubs a lyric or two, but it’s still really good. i can post a tracklist, if anyone wants it…? getting more into ‘miss machine’ now. ‘ire works’ seems untoppable! been buying up their older cds. if you’re looking for their 1st EPs, Earache Records has it way cheaper than the special edition with bonus live tracks at Amazon.com. ‘Under the Running Board’ special edition with bonus live tracks is pretty good, but prefer Greg. saw em live opening for Mr. Bungle in ’99 with former singer. crazy stuff, i was too into seeing Bungle live for the 1st time, i didn’t get into them all that much. they were not ignorable though!
