Australian and Brazilian Faith No More Tours One Step Closer!
Mr Gould tweeted yesterday what can only be described as joyous and momentous news (if you are Australian or Brazilian of course). One step closer!
“In answer to your questions of shows outside the EU, especially from Brazil and Australia, yes, we are thinking of coming there.”
In other news Faith No More break the internets, well at least a small part of it.

DAMN! Two days after posting in another topic, and this fantastic news appears! Well, I’ve read in a website here in Brazil that, apparently, FNM will be chargind U&800k for EACH show. This news was brought by a guy who brings bands to play in Brazil, and wrote this on his blog. Well… Don’t know if this is true, ’cause its an inhuman ammount of money, even for FNM. Correct me if I’m wrong, guys, but as I remember, FNM rejected 500k to play a festival with Metallica before breaking up, right?

Correcting, the guy who wrote the news on his blog is a journalist. If this will be of any use for anyone, here’s the link, anyway:

@Moose: yeah we have, we have been receptive to all the side projects too. Why do you think Patton tours here so much. We also have two members of bungle living here (one even married an aussie), and Mr Neil Hamburger was livin here for a while too. think he is back in the states now though.

I’ll translate the part about FNM, as the rest is irrelevant:
* FAITH NO MORE IN BRAZIL – How??? Where??? When???
It won’t happen.
Brazilian producers asked about the price and availability for a gig of the revived band here in Brazil, this year.
They heard “the price is US$800,000 for each show” promptly.
They let it go.
Also, some of the comments on the blog entry said that Gould have never said anything about it, telling that this is just a gossip and is not true.

@Daniel: thanks for the translation. does that mean FNM are asking that price to play? seems excessive!
