Eagles of Death Metal to Support Faith No More Solo Shows
Looks like it’s The Eagles of Death Metal that have picked up the coveted support slot for the two Faith No More Australian solo shows, and that at this stage these will be the only Australian TEODM shows apart from the Soundwave Festival.

Ha-ha, these clownsters should go down a storm!
Jesse Hughes certainly brings the fun back into Rock N’ Roll.
Just don’t boogie too much to them or you will have no energy left for the main feast!
P.S I don’t think Josh will be appearing with them as he is fully commited to his Vultures at the moment.

yeah im keen to see em live. TCV are currently in Australia, so maybe Josh will hang around for a couple more weeks and hit soundwave/FNM opener?

If TCV are around then who knows?
Josh has a work schedule that is on a par with Pattons. He’s never one to rest on his laurels either.
Perhaps he will take the chance to invite Patton to a Desert Session again?

Yeah Patton, ya big pussy, go and do the Desert Sessions!!
Patton’s too much of a control freak to do it, and he once said he doesn’t like mixing weed and music. But hey, he likes collaborating and improvising – I think he should get wasted with Josh and make some some desert music – what, are ya yellaw?

Br Mungle,
I couldn’t agree more. I would love to hear a Homme/Patton collaboration someday. The Desert Sessions might be a bot ‘loose’ for Patton however. I’m sure that Josh has eased up on the weed intake since fatherhood beckoned.
I’m with Patton on not mixing work with weed though. Get the work done and then partake but I’m the sort who would get nothing done if I inhaled first.

Patton is such a control freak though. Dunno how it would work. BUT he did do the improv stuff with Zorn so who knows, maybe it would work?
I would absolutely love to see this happen though btw…… patton on a desert sessions album would be awesome
