I remember on that tour they went on Hey, Hey It’s Saturday and I think played Evidence. Patton seemed like he was half cut and at one point during the song he was cracking up laughing and quite audibly said to someone else in the band “shut the fuck up man”. It was hilarious and I don’t think Darryl Summers was happy.
I think it was 1997, they got kicked off the show at the last moment cos some band the week before, “Reef” or something, trashed the place and Hey Hey didn’t want that happening again.

Yeah that was because hey hey forced bands to mime to a backing track with the vocalist singing live and I don’t think they appreciated it
