Are they metal? Are they rock? Are they leftfield pop? Are they rap? Are they avant-garde?

Are most music critics thick as fuck? That’s one question I could answer with some authority.

These flapjack heads would rather watch 2-3 hours of a shitty monotonous Oasis or U2 show because they can’t conmprehend something that cannot be pigeonholed.

I think the irony is that they are suffering from some of the same problem as last time round – a lot of people not understanding the diversity and, shall we say, humour of the band. Some reviewers come in expecting a big rock show, or something else but in any case expecting something that isn’t FNM! Edinburgh was, of course, amazing although it couldn’t top Brixton. Never thought I’d see them twice, never mind once!

Any word on this big fine from Reading?

very odd, i would say it’s codecs, but it’s an mpeg so there shouldnt be any encoding one would think. try grabbing a codec pack maybe

@cyrillique: I agree it was weird. in fact a lot of reviews from the latest tour have been odd. that one about Brixton was shocking. it’s like they asked around to find who hated the band the most to get them to review it.

tour posters!!!! i was going to buy one in edinburgh, but thought best bet would be wait til the end so it doesnt get crushed!but got pretty drunk and forgot,i was gutted!but a few of my mates said they were a rip-off anyway at 30quid each…but judging by the prices on the link that gronk has added!!30quid seems like a bargain…plus they were signed.

cannot believe dublin review. easily their best gig of the tour. such a great venue. unreal atmosphere. excellent set. band in electric form. perfect sound. not a single negative. best gig i’ve seen along with many others i spoke to that night
