    • Claas aka Heino Says:

What has been the craziest fan encounter?

What has been the most intensive moment on tour with FNM up to now?

Which song brought the most fighting with it in the making internally in the band?

Which song was the craziest and hardest in the making?

Which band has been the most groupie-like band to stalk you guys on a festival and did really piss you off?

Can you guys always motivate yourself for each gig and switch to performance mode and enjoy each evening or are some just boring robotic nights when you’re happy to get it over with?

Does anything else but the music and origin really connect you guys? What do you have in common?

    • Kuadziw Stiwens Says:

Only one question: will you guys release some fresh stuff, like new studio album AFTER you finish your tour? I’m curious of what could you do after all these years.
      Regards,
      Kuadziw

    • mindbait Says:

how have things changed with each tour (from TRT days through to the second coming tour) as far as personal relations within the band and how much you socialise with each other outside of gig-time?
as well as that have your on tour activities changed much over the years? (trading in sex shows for museums etc)

    • mindbait Says:

have you kept in touch with each other much between AOTY and the second coming tour and did you keep an ear on what each other was doing musically during the break?

    • fernando x fuentes Says:

besides beinging the show back on the road and reminding us how to rock, what are you doing to make up for all the shitty bands that stunk up the sales racks and said faith no more was the reason they started a band?

hopefully that means a full new album plus a live a cd of the reunion or a box set or something for me to purchase….

but seriously, no one blames you for the shit that followed but how great does it feel knowing that you could come back and be more important now then you ever were? i know you guys were never one to dwell in the past but it must feel great to be able to celebrate all you guys did.

just want to thank you guys for all the great stuff and to let you know how much faith no more has meant to me. that’s not a question, is it?

    • D Sirois Says:

How does a fan get the chance to do a concert poster for one of his favorite bands?

    • mrpenguin Says:

would you consider releasing remastered versions of all of your albums that include their respective b-sides?

are you considering releasing cd/dvd releases of The Second Coming tour? it would be really cool if you were filming behind the scenes documentary style to include with it. if you guys handpicked songs from whatever location was the best performance for the dvd and the best overall good show for the cd, that would be cool.

just make all of this stuff made-to-order and autographed! then you won’t lose any money on account of those with no real taste!

so good to see you together again, albeit youtube or whatever. thanks for the music. 20 year fan, right here!

still think you, the jesus lizard, helmet, and melvins should tour.

    • p carvalho dumont Says:

I always thought that if fnm will came back one day you will create something special, or different from what you did before, not that the before was bad, it was good and you know it, but I had the feeling that some songs were going to sound different or maybe even re-shaped in some special fnm salsa. I’ve been lucky enough to see one of the new shows and in comparison of the old shows I’ve seen it’s like nothing have changed, like fnm never stopped playing together and it was really surprising by the fact I was really expecting something different. So I wanna know if you have thinked about that way of presenting things? Or did you really wanted to come back and make it sound like nothing happened during all these years? (sorry for the bad English, I’ve tried my best, and see you this summer in Europe!).

    • Wendal Says:

To Mike Patton: What is your ethnic heritage? I’ve heard everything from Irish, Finnish, to part native american from speculating fans but to my knowledge this has never really been touched up on before.

      Thanks!

      Wendal

    • Aboogie Says:

After all these years of making music does it still make you all happy to play music? Do you all feel fortunate and blessed to be able to make music that still challenges listeners and have any of your parents listened to you music? What do they think?

Also, any chance that BOO YAH TRIBE could make an appearance at the Brooklyn shows?

    • José Vidal Says:

You told us “Undertand the cicle that never ends” but this year will ends in a good good way. In more or less 30 years of huge and intense friendship Gould and Bordin with all the good friends that was in Warfield like Joe o pies and pop o pie’s fiends, Trey Spruance, Chuck Mosley or closer people of the san fco. bay near to faith no more like Paula Frazer one of the first fnm women singers. In this 30 fucking years what are the real feelings and musical support or basement with all this important fnm members? It’s all history everyone has not a piece of cake, has a importat lifeline and connection. Would be interesting hear or read of old members the feelings about all the people on road with fnm.

    • Wendal Says:

Mike Patton: Now that FNM is back, any chance for a Mr.Bungle reunion? Have you patched things up with Trey Spruance? What do you think about Secret Chiefs 3 music?

    • Mel Says:

      1) How do you guys select songs to include them into a setlist? Some songs never seem to make it, like Kindergarden, Crack Hitler and Jizzlobber for example. Are you not comfortable with those songs, do they not fit between the rest of the songs?

      2) From all the songs you’ve recorded, which one is your favorite…are you most proud of as a band?

      3) After FnM, Mike started Ipecac and was involved in a lot of projects. Did the rest of the band listened to some of that stuff? What do you guys think about Mike’s other musical projects?

      4) When selecting songs for the albums in the past, did you all have to agree on what songs should be included? Did any of you guys ever recorded a song that wasn’t “quite right” for your taste?

    • Homer J Fong Says:

Who do we blame for not including Absolute Zero on King For A Day?

Why did Patton drop the working title (Shaq Owns You) for Fantomas’ Delirium Cordia when Shaq is the best big man to ever play for his Lakers?

What did Jon Hudson get up to between the years 1998 and 2009?

    • McQuest Says:

Are you still going to buy BP Gasoline?

    • Mike Says:

Two King For a Day questions…

1-You mentioned in interviews a terrible car accident while recording that album. Details? Who was driving? Glad no one was hurt!

2-Would love to hear the story behind the recording of “Just A Man”. Where did you get the gospel choir? Did you squeeze 30 gospel singers into the studio?

Why didn’t you guys play “Be Aggressive” at the Warfield in April? You had an entire cheerleading squad at your disposal!

Have you truly fulfilled EVERY musical aspiration the band has ever had?

    • Scott Says:

Will you come to my house and play a private solo show if I agree to let you swim in my pool that will be filled with tacos?

    • zero point field Says:

      1) what was going through each member’s mind right before and right after the first second coming show? do any of you have any pre-show rituals (individually or as a group)?

      2) what was your most memorable show for the second coming so far(good and/or bad)?

      3) is the Warfield 2010 DVD going to happen?

      4) why did you skip Small victory & Edge of the World on the second night at the Warfield??!!??

    • cartoongal Says:

@ Mike Patton esp. (and the rest of FNM):
How do you see the music industry these days, are things different from when you first started as a band?Is it easier or more difficult now for a new band to start their career? Also we see many band copying each other do you thing that back then things where a little more original? And are there any bands that you find interesting today?

    • Timb Says:

You guys used twitter a lot to promote the reunion tour, did it feel an intrusiion into your personal space or bring you closer to the fans?

    • Andy from North Says:

      1. What is the deal with the unreleased song from the Angel Dust sessions, the one that uses a sample of an orchestra tuning as an intro and has seagull samples somewhere in the song? It has a really nice groove going. Will we ever hear this?

      2. What was the song that changed the most during any of your writing sessions?

      3. Did you always aim for everyone to like a finished song equally much or are there songs in the catalog that one of you really hates and the rest really love?

Good health and hopefully you’ll keep entertaining the hell outta us!

    • Ally Says:

To individual members: Do you have a favourite country to visit? If so, where?

    • piemash Says:

Timb has mentioned twitter, and I wanted to ask something similar about how the band feel social-networking/DIY-self-promotion has helped facilitate the reunion tour. Have you all been surprised by the enthusiastic reaction of the fans, and did this play any part in the extension of the tour?

And, y’know, all the mumblemumble “thank you guys, you’re awesome” stuff! ;)

    • VOMITGOD Says:

Why no As The Worm Turns on my Angel Dust?????!!!

    • fernando x fuentes Says:

out of all the chuck songs, why was only ‘as the worm turns’ the only one to be recorded?
      what made that one special.
its actually my favorite fnm song but i wonder if it was b/c of the re-recorded version.

    • Tim Says:

To Puffy: Is there any reason why you sometimes play with one drumstick upside down?

To FNM: What song have you never played live but wish that you could?

    • Sophie Says:

Answer for the person asking about Mike’s ethnic heritige: He’s got Irish and Native American bloodline.

    • massivesax Says:

To FNM :D id you have a hand in selecting the support acts on the euro tour? any favourites for fnm fans to check out? adebesi shank in ireland were amazing!

Did you find the musical dynamic had changed between members after not playing together for so long especially after individually being involved in so many diverse projects previous to your comeback..? Have these independent musical adventures inspired you to tackle any FNM stuff live that you previously left alone..?

why do you never (to the best of my knowledge) play mouth to mouth live? this song is incredible!

    • Yulia Says:

      @Sophie, d’you mean Indian? wow

    • Sophie Says:

I guess that can compare to Johnny Depp who a lot of people say Mike Patton looks like, because Johnny Depp also has Native American Indian heritage (Cherokee Indian apparently)

Patton is a common Irish surname, though, so his family have some Irish heritage, too.

I bet he wishes he had some Italian roots, but he doesn’t. He’s just lucky to have learnt the language so well!

    • Jason Says:

2-Would love to hear the story behind the recording of “Just A Man”. Where did you get the gospel choir? Did you squeeze 30 gospel singers into the studio?

To add on to that question.. who had the idea for Just a man or was it a collabaritive thing?

When was the last time you watched the from out of nowhere video and do you ever think spandex will ever comeback into fashion?

Was there a rehersal with Chuck before the SF show?

    • Nathan Says:

What are your pre show superstitions (if any) and have they changed over the years?

Is there any unheard music which you have stashed away under lock and key which may see the light of day?

Hypothetical question – if you guys were to record a new album, what would be the motivating factor that would make you decide to do it?

Have there been any songs which you guys have created which started off as an idea by someone but they were initially embarassed by it and didn’t want to share it?

    • Mike H Says:

      - Moving toward the reunion, what was it like listening over old material? Mike – your voice changed dramatically, how do you feel about old recordings?

      - FNM’s songs are 12-25 years old, and most stand the test of time. Which songs do you play now and feel the most proud of?

      - Do you like Epic?

      - As popular music moved from Funk/Metal to Grunge to Alternative to Techno to Dance to the shit that plays today, where do you personally see popular music trending toward?

      - Each member has been involved with other projects since the band broke up. Have you heard what each other has been up to? And what do you think of it?

    • mrpenguin Says:

i have this weird music comp dvd and i thought MP mentions he has middle eastern or particularly iraqi heritage too

    • lolo76 Says:

      hi guys.
what have you think from the only one show in France (Rock en scène 2009)??? (in a strange festival).
will you come back for shows in France?
      We want MORE!!!!

    • Jim Bowen Says:

      Sophie,

Patton is more of a Scots name than Irish. I should know, I’m a hybrid of the 2!

      Question to FNM,

      1. There must have been a lot of money on offer to get you all back together again. How much did the brain surgeon in Scotland put on the table?

      2. Where to now guys after the very last gig is over?

    • Andrew Says:

After years of wanting to watch the Greatest Hits video, I was a little disappointed when I finally got it and saw little else apart from the music videos and basically the only band footage was taken off Video Crossiant. Is there any footage available worth putting on dvd?

    • Jason Says:

Are You guys to chicken sh1t to try and make a new album That may suck and feck up Your legacy?

100 years from now what do you want fnm to be remembered for?

When checking on the back catalog ofsongs when u started the reunion what songs stood outthat sucked andstill rocked?

    • ArikThree Says:

My child is 4 years old, and without persuasion, FNM is his favorite band. Being his Dads as well, we traveled 3000+ miles to see the Coachella show. (AMAZING show, although it seems the Warfield shows would’ve been better suited for a die hard as myself) My sons top three FNM songs are 1. Falling To Pieces 2. Caffine 3. The various live versions of Chinese Arithmetic.
My question is, do the members who have children play FNM music for them? Do their kids like it? If so, which are among their kids favorite FNM songs?

    • bister mungle Says:

I heard that Puffy lives in a small town in Scotland, is this true? But I second the intrigue in Patton heritage as I have always wondered. I think it is obvious that there will be either irish/scottish plus I reckon Cherokee but I did hear Finnish as well. Of course, the ultimate Patton question, which has never been answered, is which brand of hair gel does he use?!

Will try to think of a proper question for the whole band… is this the right place to be making them?

    • VOMITGOD Says:

Was Jim asked to join you guys at the Warfield shows?

    • mrpenguin Says:

the dvd that i have, Rockthology: Hard n Heavy volume 1, has the Falling To Pieces video with interview segments cut in. MP mentions he was getting bomb threats to his house and that he has cousins in Iraq. hard to tell what era, late TRT or AD. might be on youtube…

    • mrpenguin Says:

as far as another question: what is the live relationship between Patton and Bordin? it seems that Puffy’s always concentrating and MP is always makin faces at him. is he tryin to crack him up or get his attention or something?humorous, nonetheless.

thanks so much to the band for challenging me when i was 15 (20 years ago!) and introducing me to such unbelievable music. my mind has been ever opened to new music and styles. what a gift. hearing ‘stripsearch’, ‘the gentle art of making enemies’ live again… my god. timeless.

    • Nick Says:

      1. I may be way off the mark (because I’ve never heard every live set you’ve ever performed!)BUT songs like – ‘Smaller and Smaller’, ‘Crack Hitler’, ‘Kindergarten’ and even ‘Everthing’s Ruined’ seemed to get minimal live airings. I understand that not everything works live but those tracks!!!

      2. How have you all decided over the years what pre Mike songs to tackle live? Are there particular tracks that you guys can’t stand anymore? Are there tracks that Mike doesn’t like but the rest of you do? How do/did you slug it out?

      3. In an early “King For A Day” interview for some metal mag it was stated that Trey Spruance was heir to the Dupont millions! He has since stated that it was utter rubbish. Funny stuff but why?

      4. I remember it being said (by Billy I think) that Jim had minimal input into Angel Dust. Are there any songs on that album that he didn’t appear on at all?

      5. What else has Mr. Hudson been up to all of this time?

    • blahblah Says:

if they will ever do a complete b-sides CD release

if the albums will be re-issued on vinyl

if there are any developments on a full US tour

    • mindbait Says:

not really a question for the band but just a general musing, i wonder when they’re going to post their 2010 tour pics on fnm.com

    • Clay Stroker Says:

Are there any songs by other great bands/artists that you wish had been written and released by FNM?

What band would you most want to release a split EP with?

Do any of the FNM members have hidden talents?

    • fernando x fuentes Says:

what nursery rhymes did/do/would you/will you sing to your kids?

    • mindbait Says:

ooh i’ve just thought of something actually.

whatever happened to the music written for the Castro Sinatra project (Billy, Jon and Puffy if I remember right) and if (hypothetically) FNM ever did a new album could you see yourselves dipping into that material?
