Official Confirmation of Faith No More’s Brixton Show
After breaking the news a week ago, stubbadub has official confirmation that Faith No More will be playing the Brixton via Billy on twitter:

“Okay, kids, you knew it was gonna happen, and now I’m happy to confirm it: June 10, Brixton Academy!! Brixton Academy Pre-sale to Download ticket holders on May 6 and 7. Tickets go on sale to the general public May 8.”
Tickets will be £32.50. Have fun!

we’re soooo lucky (but not as much as germany!) to have the first 2 shows in 3 days! totally buzzing!! fingers crossed for fans all around the world sat waiting desperately, i can only imagine the torment… x

I tried to get tickets at 9:00am on Friday – all gone. So….. I may have had to pay A LOT for a pair on ebay. It will be worth it, I’m so glad to be able to see them in proper gig environment and not a festival (especially download).

One would hope this isn’t a once off and they are going to do a proper world tour and not just the festival scene…but who knows if that will happen so yeah I wouldn’t be missing brixton – if I lived there

I’m so angry : a friend of mine and I tried to buy a couple of tickets and weren’t able to do so, and now there are many – very expensive – i.e. on eBay !

I got 5 tickets! Been hearing rumours over here that it could be a 4 hour show. this is being fuelled by one of roddy’s posts. has anyone heard anyhting else about this?

Wouldn’t surprise me if they do play a big set cos they have said it is their warm up to download so they probably want to trial songs for their sets.
