Hey Gronk, so glad to hear you had an ace time!!! Man, not long now til I get to see them in Melbourne, I can’t wait til Thursday! Have fun at Horden tonight. :)

    • Frketson Says:

They were amazing, i was pretty close to the front and it just souunded so cool. The best part was probably when the band stopped playing and the whole crowd was singing the chorus of Midlife Crisis by ourselves!

Anyone know if Patton is planning any solo acts like he did when out here for Mr Bungle and Fantomas?

Missed out on one at Club 77 years ago and wouldn’t want to miss another one.

      • gronk Says:

I was at the Club 77 show (and recorded it, still my best work to date). it was unreal! but i think we are out of luck this time mate. The schedule just doesn’t permit it I think.

        • Jangari Says:

I must get a copy of that. I must! My life will not be complete until I hear it.

Just got home from Hordern. Rockin’. Haven’t got a complete tracklist, though I’m sure you do.

A few unexpected tracks throughout: The Real Thing, Surprise, You’re Dead and The Edge of The World, for instance. But the track at the end of the second encore, after Introduce Yourself, what was that?

          • Nick Says:

It was a cover of Sparks’ “This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us”. It was from a rare single they released in ’97 called “Faith No More vs Sparks”.

            • jangari Says:

Yeah, I figured that from Gronk’s setlist from last night’s show. I remember seeing this track listed at FNM concerts, but I’d never heard it before.

was at the eastern creek gig last night and it was utterly awesome! at the hordern right now waiting in antici…. pation.

having the eagles of death metal as support only makes this concert that much better.

    • Frketson Says:

haha yeah, also loved when Patton got the guard with the water to keep spraying him during ‘easy’
