New Fantomas and Mondo Cane album news and Release Dates
Rock a Rolla recently revealed that Fantomas are currently working on their next album with a tentative release date of June next year, while the Mondo Cane album is looking at coming out March next year. All dates to be taken with a grain of salt obviously 
but good news about the new Fantomas……bring on some tours. Full news at rock-a-rolla.

At last! Been waiting for ages for the Mondo Cane thing to come around (officially).
The new Fantomas record to be ‘a mellow electronic affair’?
I’ll believe that when I hear it. Does that mean Buzz is going to be sent back to his cave?

Mondo Cane is currently being lined up for a November 2009 release but that’s not definite due to Mike being busy with FNM (according to rock-a-rolla interview with Greg Werkman)

sorry i don’t have a link, it’s in a fairly recent issue of rock-a-rolla. they interview greg to mark the 10th anniversary of ipecac, he said that crudo and PTII are going to happen and mondo cane is probably nov, wait a minute word for word “We got Mike’s big project that he’s been working on for a while, a little over a year, called Mondo Cane. he sings italian pop songs with a full orchestra. He taped a couple of the shows he did over there last year and then he’s been in the studio working on the tracks and adding some strings. It’s taking longer now with the FNM stuff going on, it’s gonna delay it a little. I hope that record comes out in November of this year, but maybe not.
