Mike Patton at The Quietus
Yet another excellent Mike Patton article has recently been released to the world. Now it’s the quietus’ turn:
“In a sense, baiting and teasing that audience became a part of his project, even a motivating factor. ‘I’ve certainly done things like that in the past,’ he says, ‘in some of the earlier bands – and it wasn’t just me! We would make musical choices like, oh yeah, this’ll really fuck ‘em up!’”

Hat-tip to JimT for the heads up.

Perhaps the most accurate introduction of Patton “If music is a virus, Mike Patton is a plague.”
Thanks for the link. Great article. Highly recommended!

Cool article, and this is a bit OT, but i just got my hands on the new Mondo Cane album and i’m really disappointed. The singing and just everything in general is far better in the amsterdam live concert.

A lot of us think that, but it’s still good. I can’t wait to see him perform it all live, it will be worth the wait.
