The latest collaboration between Mike Patton and Dan the Automator, Crudo (described as “strange and bizarre R n’ B”) is to debut live at the Sasquatch Festival. No news on an album release date (rumoured 2009 release). The festival runs from the 24th to the 26th of May 2008.

i believe so. ipecac made an announcement about it today as well.
“Also wanted to let you know that there is a new Patton project that is about to show it’s face. Yeah, another one. Seems that Mike and Dan the Automator have been cooking up some music and after a little marinating are about to reveal…….. CRUDO. Not much is known about Crudo, but we know this, they will be playing the super cool music festival, Sasquatch, at the end of May in the state of Washingtonat the Gorge.”

And they played tonight at the great american music hall in San Fran! I was there and it was amazing! Kinda like Lovage meets Peeping tom then mixed with some of the executioners album and throw in more of the hip hop. Had elements of Tomahawk I would say as well in terms of the vocals.
Another AMAZING project of Patton’s and each member of the band really. Cant wait for a studio release! You can also find a demo song by them at myspace.com/crudo
