Soulsavers Album Release Date
According to pluginmusic, the new Soulsavers album, Broken, will be released on August 18th.
The album features Mike Patton on the track Unbalanced Pieces along with Gibby Haynes of the Butthole Surfers on Death Bells and also Mark Lanegan who contributes vocals to 10 tracks, including a duet with Mike.

no need to answer above!!! just pre ordered it from amazon….wonder if patton will make an appearance at the soulsavers glasgow gig,they,re playing same night as FNM play edinburgh,tho i think the glasgow gig will be a later show….so MAYBE!

I’ll be at the Glasgow gig. This album sounds extemely promising.
You’ll have to hire the SPL helicopter to make both shows Imposter!

how far away from each other are the cities? if it was the next night i would say definitely but somehow same night i doubt it….

A one-hour clear drive. If a whirlybird is available then it would certainly help. Mark Lanegan is definitely appearing at the show.
It’s a nice thought but it won’t happen unfortunately. The shows will be on at the same time. If the gig was at the Arches then who knows?
Can’t wait for the album. It’s released just a week after Chuck’s. I’ll not be going out much next month!

jims right edinburgh to glasgow takes an hour..pity really,sometimes smaller venues are later shows but not this one…..

theres def been a dry spell of good music lately! but i do recommend the POLKADOT CADAVER album you MUST check it out if you haven’t already…it’s bungle tastic

hmm ok will do. not been a fan of the bungle clone bands (tub ring, DFD etc) is this like that?
