Torn between the sadness of not seeing Mondo Cane in Paris and the happiness of maybe seeing Mondo Cane in Brussels… Fuck, let’s be happy!! :-)

    • Sophie Says:

I might see you in Brussels, then, as I can get the train from London on Eurostar.

    • Sophie Says:

If anyone who sees this is going to the Poland concert in Wroclaw, then if you know whether the standing tickets are regular standing in the front of the stage, then please say! As the seating sold out within a day of going on sale, but the standing is apparently general admission and if you get there early, you can get to the front, but I still have no idea whether this is correct.

    • Danchee Says:

I am going to Poland concert with standing tickets, hoping these are the best to get right in front of the stage, but don’t know it for sure, I’ve never been there. Seatings sold out during my discussion with friends, which tickets to buy, so we had no choice then :-)

    • retrovertigo_ Says:

@Sophie: got a standing ticket too but i’m not sure if it’s in front of the stage or behind the seats. think its the second one cuz as i heard, the show is kinda open air

    • wakam Says:

Does anybody know when and where will Brussels and Firenze tickets be on sale?

    • Frketson Says:

THis is great timing, im in Europe in July so i might try and catch one of the italian concerts

    • Agata Says:

@Sophie I mailed guy from festival and he wrote that tey’ll be both standing and sitting places close to stage.

    • bister mungle Says:

Although seeing this in Italy would be the ultimate experience, I think there will be more dates (hopefully uk) as I received the press pack, stage plan, tech specs and even the rider from a promoter in the uk. That’s right folks, I have Mike Pattons rider – surprisingly normal! For those who don’t know, bands need to send info to concert promotors that they are looking to book gigs in their area, and then the promotors decide with venues if they think the act is worth putting on, economically speaking, so here’s hoping someone had the sense to put on Mondo Cane in more places.

    • gronk Says:

@bister: I know the Sydney opera house is trying to book mondo cane, so I’m fairly certain there will be more dates announced soon. I just hope one of them is the opera house ;)

Btw, any chance of getting a look at that press pack?

    • bister mungle Says:

Hey Gronk, no problem, what’s the easiest way to get it to you, email? anything@stubbadub.com? There’s a really nice old theatre hall in my neck of the woods, Edinburgh (Scotland) called the Usher Hall, I am hoping they could pull off getting in there!

    • bister mungle Says:

Also, I’ll tell you one thing about Mondo Cane (just been listening to samples on ipecac.com) I am really disappointed that once again Patton has not made an album that I can (finally) put on when anybody is about (so I mean grannies, pop-music-only people, in shops/cafes, the easily offended etc). Peeping Tom failed on that mark and so has this. For instance, Urlo Negro has some hefty screaming going on – it’s great, I love it, but one of these days, Patton has the deliberately tame himself, so the legions of fans can start slipping in a record without worrying about sudden assault of madness on the unexpecting!

    • gronk Says:

Well…… You could put eyvand kang’s virginal coordinates on for anyone! I know it’s not a Patton album but he is heavily involved :)

    • Sophie Says:

I got my Mondo Cane ticket for the Wroclaw concert! It is general standing with some seats either side, but I haven’t actually come across anyone who got a seat ticket and it said “sold out” already on the day they went on sale which was odd, so maybe seats were reserved for VIPs or something? because everyone I’ve been in contact with got standing.

    • wakam Says:

Sophie, where did you buy Wroclaw tickets? I can’t find information about it. In fact I want to buy tickets online for Brussels show, and I’m afraid I won’t find the way.

    • John Says:

Anyone know where to buy tickets for the Florence show?

    • Sophie Says:

I haven’t been able to find any information online at all about tickets for the Florence, Brussels or Tel Aviv concerts. Nor is there any info yet what venues Mike is playing in those places. I want to go to Brussels, no tickets on sale yet by the looks of it.
Wroclaw tickets are available from here:

    • wakam Says:

thanks for the infor, Sophie. Please, when you find something about Brussels tickets, post it here. Thanks. I’ve already booked a flight to Brussels from Spain.

    • Brian Says:

Yes, desperately looking for info regarding the July 26th Florence date. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

    • bister mungle Says:

Hey Gronk, apparently your mailbox is full? Message keeps bouncing back. Go ahead posting stuff though! Cheers dude.

    • Renaud Says:

Juste received confirmation from Ipecac that Mondo Cane will not play in Brussels. Sorry folks, I’m as disappointed as you are.

    • Zoë Says:

      where can i buy tickets?

    • Natalie Says:

      Hi there,

I am also looking at buying a ticket to the Florence show and although i know where the show is being played, there is no info about ticket purchasing.

Getting really anxious because i am travelling from Australia and planning to go to Florence just for this show!! Anyone have any updates yet?

      Thanks,

      Nat

    • Giulio Says:

Has anyone figured out how to buy tickets to the Florence show. I’m on holidays in Europe at the moment and just thought I’d check Mondo Cane tour dates and noticed they will be in Florence the same date I am!!

      Anyone?

    • Edward Says:

Seeing Mondo Cane in Luzern, was the best gig I have ever been too…

Incredible atmosphere, incredible artists, but only stipulation is when can I see them again!
