Mondo Cane in Paris 2010?
UPDATE 2: Ipecac now have official word on this:
“It has come to our attention that tickets are being sold for Mike Patton’s Mondo Cane in Paris on February 19 & 20. Unfortunately these dates are not correct. Mike did not agree to these dates. If you bought tickets, please get a refund. We are working on getting the correct dates. (http://www.ipecac.com/news/426)”
UPDATE: Mike’s manager Greg Werckman has stated that Mike will not be playing these shows. He says Mike was approached to play the shows but stated he was not available until March.
Tickets have just gone on sale for two Mike Patton dates with Ochestre Nationale d’Ile de France. February 18th and 20th, 2010. The concerts will be held at Cité de la Musique and are expected to be the first Mondo Cane shows since the highly successful Amsterdam concert of 2008.
A double album of Mondo Cane (Mike Patton and The Metropole Orchestra) is expected for release in November this year, though a later date to coincide with the Paris shows, is likely.
