Good news everyone! (If you live in South America). Jean (Umlaut’s manager) tweeted a very interesting “Big announcement”……. a Secret Chiefs 3, Umlaut and Madlove tour through South America to take place August of this year.

Details are few at best, but check out the tweet for the hard evidence and I’ll do my best to keep you all updated with any news.

So the day is fast approaching for Trevor Dunn’s new rock outfit “Madlove” to release their debut album. The date? According to Ipecac it will be available on September 1st.

The tracklist for “White with Foam” is:

After being tantalized with glimpses of footage of Trevor Dunn’s baby Mad Love from their brief live stint, word from the man is that their debut album will be released around September on Ipecac Recordings.

Can’t wait for this one.

Trevor Dunn‘s band Mad Love featuring Sunny Kim (vocals), Trevor Dunn (bass, vocals), Ches Smith (drums), Hilmar Jensson (guitar), Erik Deutsch (keyboards) have completed their debut album, titled White With Foam (to be released soon on Ipecac), and are also preparing for (literally) a few U.S shows.

Trevor describes the album as “one of the straighter, more commercial things that has ever been associated with Ipecac and therefore may not appeal to the label’s usual clientele”.  Read more about Mad Love in Trevor’s latest Mad Love blog.
