MadLove or the Melvins to Support Faith No More Chile

Rumour has it (and according to La Tercera), the support role for Faith No More‘s Chile show (29 October) is going to be either The Melvins or Trevor Dunn’s new band MadLove. Why not add them both and make it the Geek Show 2.0? Either way that’s going to be a nice line up for those lucky Chileans!

      Why not indeed have both for our lucky Chilean friends? They deserve it for the fantastic FNM Chile ’95 show which is probably the best FNM bootleg out there, in terms of quality and content.

      hear, hear, mr. mark bowen’s dad! that show IS the best! had it in video cassette, now an old buddy has had it for like 10 years.
      i’m wondering if scheduling conflicts are what’s holding the 2 bands back. or maybe to have both, they’d have to shorten their sets?
      i just gotta say, the photo of buzz is probably the funniest pic i’ve ever seen!

      one more thing – i think the newly reformed (temporarily?) jesus lizard and helmet (old line-up or current) should open for fnm if/when they tour in the states!
      fnm should release remastered albums with all their b-sides as bonus tracks to help fund the tour. on whatever label pays the most. i know i’d buy em all again!

      dunno about the remasters though, there is already an angel dust one out anyway
