A few Madlove Reviews
With the recent release of Trevor Dunn’s baby Madlove’s debut album, White with Foam, the intertubes have been out and about and saying nice things.
I’m still waiting for my copy to arrive so unfortunately I can’t comment yet……. What are everyone’s thoughts on the album?

I love it, very addictive – as some of the reviews have stated it walks a balanced line between the pop and avant garde sides of Trevor’s playing. Definitely in my Top 5 of the year. Now I just have to chomp through the new Pearl Jam one

New pearl jam is average IMO but new Alice In Chains is great!

Very much liked “In Love (In Theory)”. Liked Trevor’s voice. Listened to this cd several times and it will not make it into my heavy rotation.

Fuck man, it’s taking a while!
Hope they packaged it properly – the last couple of books I got from Amazon were bashed about a bit…
Yeah, PJ is a bit lacking. There a couple of standout songs but they seem to have lost the fire of the last couple of albums. It’s all very… mellow. Still looking forward to the November gigs though

I’m really enjoying this album. Yr right it does blend the pop/avante Trevor nicely. And her voice is great!
